Cindy Olsen

(M.S., LMHC)

About Me

I am a Master's level, licensed counselor with over 20 year experience in human services. Currently, I operate a small private practice where I have been seeing clients for 18 years. During that time I have worked with a significant number of couples, both heterosexual and same sex partners. A common thread in this work is the lack of meaningful communication between couples - even when they feel like the are communicating. Couples counseling is an experience both parities agree to take together, usually to save the relationship, but sometimes to clarify value in the relationship. Either way, it is a commitment from both parties to interact in the process.

Many of the couples I have worked with are happily together today. Some of them are happily apart. You get to decide what direction you want to take in this process. I will support your intentions with respect and objectivity, providing feedback that inspires new perspective. I will provide specific interventions to help with communication and empathy for one another.

I look forward to working with you both!
