I am a marriage and family therapist and I have to say that being in a relationship is work. Talking with someone and sharing what you are feeling alone is helpful. Having someone who is able to help you see other options and identify things we have been closed off or unable to see, is where therapy shines. We can tend to take our partner for granted or stop communicating. Working to fix your relationship together as a couple will build a stronger bond and improve communication skills. Although not all relationships are meant to be. Working together to end a relationship in a healthy way is better for all involved. When mental health issues are involved those issues effect those around them and can cause disruption within the entire family. As a marriage and family therapist I take a systemic approach, looking at all factors, that contribute to someones happiness or sadness.
I approach therapy with an open mind, respect and sensitivity. I utilize solution focused and narrative theories collaboratively, creating goals and finding the strengths to make changes. Progress is measured regularly to keep up motivation and to check if we are on the right track. Therapy is tough, but with help you and you family will find yourself in a better place.
Thank you and I look forward to working with you.

Christina is patient, kind and always offers objectivity to provide perspective to any situation. She is empathetic and has helped to improve my marriage so much!
Christina was very sweet and a great listener from the beginning. She has a very calm demeanor. I had a very difficult partner to deal with and though therapy did not work for us, she went above and beyond to try to make us work. When things got heated, she even stayed extra time on the video call with me just to make sure we parted ways in a decent manner. She was so worried and would not leave us until she felt she could.
Thank you again! I’m sad to end my relationship and it will be a journey of recovery but with your help, I know I made the right decision. She’s definitely the one to work with!!!!
Christina was a great counselor. She listens very well and allows her clients to speak. She helped me and my wife with exercises and they actually helped us communicate a lot better. She’s friendly, understanding & knowledgeable. Everything you could want in a counselor.
