About me
Since entering this field in 2007, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, addictions, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. Currently, I hold a credential as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I really just want to be a part of the solution. I seek to help my clients develop their definition of success and begin working toward it. I bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and unconditional positive regard to the treatment setting so I can help my clients build confidence in exploring their feelings and fearlessly divorce behaviors that compromise a healthy lifestyle. My intention is to empower them to examine their truths from different perspectives and to challenge their own perceptions. I have worked with adolescents and adults in residential, inpatient, and outpatient settings. I have worked with couples and family to restore harmony and cohesion in torn relationships.
I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Work in 2011 from Slippery Rock University and I obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling Psychology in 2016 from Chatham University in Pittsburgh. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectic, humanistic therapies. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe in the client-centered and meeting clients where they are. Without client input, the treatment planning process is ineffective.
Whatever your challenge, you didn't arrive at this space overnight, and regardless of how you arrived here, together, we can skillfully develop an effective solution to improve your quality of life. I look forward to working with you!
