About me
I am married with grown children. I hold a Masters of Arts in Counseling and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor of Hawaii. I have seven years of professional work experience in counseling, two years as a military Master Resiliency Trainer, an Army veteran with 20 total years of federal service. I find non-denominational, Christian-based counseling to be the approach I most excel in. I have experience helping clients with stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, self-esteem, military service, veterans’ issues, and PTSD. I believe in active listening for content without judgement, focusing on your specific needs, offering encouragement, guidance, goal setting, and resiliency. It is courageous to be vulnerable and seek assistance in one’s life journey. I would be honored to partner with you in this process of growth, healing, and change. Thank you for considering my support.

Charity has been a great support for myself and my partner. She’s great with keeping the conversations flowing even when I can’t sometimes. She’s helped us build on our relationship and helped us work on our open communication. She makes both of us feel comfortable and that we’re in a safe space to share our thoughts and feelings. Great sessions every time! Thank you Charity!
Charity Cooper is very personable and includes relatable situations for us to feel like we are not alone. It helps to feel more motivated to endure tough times.
So far on my journey with Charity I can say it’s been an experience of a lifetime. Nothing good is easy and this rings true here. Its put my heart to the test and has given me a true reason to reflect and evaluate my relationship and its meaning to my life. The support I have received is priceless and I will be forever greatful for the tools and lessons I have gained from this experience.
Charity has a wonderfully calm and caring demeanor. She listened clearly to both me and my partner. She created a safe and trustworthy space for us to work with her. I'm thankful for her knowledge, as well as her homework that she gave us.
Charity is amazing. Patiently listens and responds thoughtfully. Gives practical advice and supplies worksheets that apply to the situation. Very kind and attentive. Digs through the mess and tries to find solutions.
