Hello! My name is Chad Summers, and I am happy you’re here! My counseling style is to meet couples where they're coming from, to listen to their perspectives, ask a lot of questions, and help them find hope and a way to overcome their most challenging times.
A client once asked me why I would want to listen to others’ challenges. My answer is that I want to make a positive difference in a couples life. Through counseling, I can motivate couples to reach a goal. Through counseling, I can help couples overcome depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, infidelity, and even talk of separation or divorce. Through counseling, I can help couples understand the complexity of trauma and get the help they need.
Simply put, each couple I meet means a lot to me, and I’d love to help each one get their life back on track.
I specialize in motivation, addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and couples therapy.
I have experience in eating disorders, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA in clinical mental health and 10 years of experience.
I use a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance commitment therapy, and so much more.
I have helped couples, families in hospice care, teens and young adults under psychiatric care, adults in drug and alcohol groups, and many others.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I look forward to helping you through therapy soon.

He was kind and thoughtful
Chad is absolutely what I thought he would be for our first session. He made me and my honeydo feel comfortable talking about our business. Amazing!
