With over 25 years of extensive mental health experience, I hold a Ph.D. (APA accredited) in Clinical, Health, Forensic, & Neuropsychology. I am also a Certified Nutritionist, a Board-Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH); a Board-Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, Illinois, and New Jersey; a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky; a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska; a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Montana and Illinois; a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP) and Licensed Sex Offender Evaluator (LSOE) in Illinois; a Telehealth Provider #TPMC864 (Florida)
Licensed Professional Counselor #37PC00852500 (New Jersey)
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor #LCPC03319 (Kansas)
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor #CP5260-R (Nevada) and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in The Bahamas.
I have three master’s degrees (Professional Counseling, Clinical Psychology, and Christian Counseling). I have been inducted into the Psi Chi international honor society in psychology and the Pi Lambda Theta honor society in education. I have worked successfully with individuals, couples, groups, and families with a broad range of concerns, including but not limited to parenting problems, addiction, career challenges, depression, divorce, domestic abuse, and eating disorders. I have also worked with persons coping with illness, grief, loss, family conflict, pre-marital concerns, anxiety, infidelity, OCD, men’s issues, sexual abuse, spirituality, suicidal ideation, PTSD, weight loss, women’s issues, relationships issues, panic attacks, etc. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma and/or emotional abuse.
Throughout the years, I have developed a comprehensive multidisciplinary background that has allowed me to recognize, diagnose, and successfully help and treat hundreds of individuals and couples. I will provide life-changing couples therapy, marriage, and pre-marital counseling that will help people work on their relationships; I offer guidance to couples and families who are dealing with issues that affect their mental health and the well-being of the whole family. With the expert application of therapeutic intervention, I will help couples learn healthy ways to handle conflicts while managing their individual feelings, thoughts, and emotions. I treat mental health issues while focusing on issues that are specific to the family. Some of these common issues include marital conflicts, adolescent behavior problems, domestic violence, and issues related to infertility.
I observe how people behave within the family and identify relationship problems, and construct treatment plans that will meet the needs of everyone so that the family unit can work for the benefit and happiness of all because when families face trouble that interrupts or hinders their cohesiveness, they need help, strategies, and solutions to combat and conquer these difficulties. Sometimes even the most robust family unit may need support and guidance in dealing with unexpected circumstances. Other times, they may require that same support from an impartial observer to manage personal conflicts. I also help those in romantic relationships and marriages with guidance throughout each stage of their relationship, from dating to engagement to the many years of building a life together, as couples may need help breaking negative patterns and forming more positive habits. I have a strong sense of compassion and commitment to helping people make informed and healthy decisions about their relationships while building a promising future together. I use a holistic approach, a “wellness” model instead of an “illness” one, while doing my best to leave no stone unturned.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Carnell Colebrook-Claude . We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Dr. C is so wonderful. She can tell where you’re at even when you can’t, and then take you step by step toward you goals. She has a wonderful manner about her, too. On a scale of one to ten, she’s a 1000.
Dr. C’s the best!!!
Dr. Colebrook-Claude is my first experience with a therapist and she was extremely genuine & kind, and it was amazing how spot-on she was.
Her style works extremely well for my partner & I, and we're very happy with this fit.
I appreciate her
Dr. Colebrook-Claude truly cares about her clients. Her ability to effectively communicate in a nurturing way, helps us obtain clarity quicker to reach or goals.
Dr Colebrook-Claude is so intentional, a great listening and full of great insight and wisdom
She awesome. Will recommend her to anybody that need help and willing to work for...
We have only had one session with Dr. Colebrook-Claude but she was absolutely amazing and within minutes identified a couple of key issues we have been dealing with for years. I would highly recommend her and we will continue to use her in the future.
Extremely professional not to serious likes to laugh and joke keeps things interesting always look forward to the next sessions
Dr. C. is by far one of the best therapists I’ve ever worked with. She encourages honest reflection and has deep insight that helped me see beyond my challenges. She encouraged me when I needed it most, and is very adept at asking thought provoking questions. I highly recommend Dr. C.
Dr. Colebrook-Claude gets right to the heart of the issue, helping us to make progress and grow closer with every session. No doubt she is going to save our marriage. Highly recommend.
My husband and I were having trouble with intimacy while we were trying to conceive. We walked away from our first session with tools to implement right away that my husband and I both felt excited about. And things have gotten better! I cannot recommend Dr. C. enough. Beyond her expertise, she exudes so much light, even through the phone. We both felt safe and supported in sharing. Grateful to work with Dr. C!
Very kind and friendly. Really great at understanding the true core of the situation. Helped us out so much.
She is very understanding and asks each others questions and not just one and she listens to both sides
She is challenging me and making me think
Dr. Cole took-Claude has really impacted my marriage. She listens and is able to offer solutions. In the month we have been meeting with her we have gotten so much
Closer and improved our communication drastically. She is absolutely amazing!!!
I appreciate the time put towards listening to our issues. I feel she remained neutral on the subject and provided helpful and thoughtful input for my current situation. I would recommend.
Dr. Colebrook -Claude is discerning, insightful, direct, honest, and kind. I have found her to be very helpful for me regarding growth and healing in our counseling.
My counselor, Carnell is a very caring, professional woman. She is extremely knowledgeable and has my respect. She does not say what I want to hear. She gives honest and straightforward advice.
I believe that Carnell is very qualified and when she shared it was very valuable I would recommend her and this app to other people.
Compassionate, understanding, professional. Carnell listens and responds without judgement. I think it is important to mention that she doesn’t simply tell those she counsels what they want to hear. She has been instrumental in helping guide my husband and I through some fairly tough issues in our marriage. We’re still early in the counseling process. However, we both agree that Carnell has been great! My only regret is that I didn’t seek her out years ago. She has helped me understand some of my own emotions. She is helping my husband and I better understand one another. I look forward to additional sessions, as each session has brought my husband and I closer. Expect to work (in a good way) when you speak with her! With Carnell, my husband and I are growing both individually and together. I am grateful for her expertise and compassion. Thank you, Carnell! I pray that you be as much a blessing to others as you have been to my husband and I!
Dr. Colebrook-Claude is very good at listening to every side and explaining things so that they are better understood and that way you can begin to move forward. She has been a most pivotal point in helping our marriage succeed and push forward. She is available even at odd hours which makes her beyond vital. I am so happy to have found her and to have her help.
Carnell is fantastic. She can help you see things that are somehow hidden behind pain and disconnect, then show you a clear path to uncovering God's answer for your situation. I love working with her!
