In the past 20 plus years that I’ve been working in the human services field, I’ve provided families and couples counseling to a lot of couples. Most of the time, the issues seem to form around communication and expectations, both which are learned from all of our previous relationships, good or bad, and the sense of security or insecurity that follows. Having gone through a divorce and break-ups myself, the relationships that I have exist because there is security and, in relationships, security is knowing that each partner appreciates the other and that each partner appreciates themselves. Whatever else “love” might be composed of, appreciation is a big part of it.
Whether you’re interested in making it work, moving on or not quite sure let me know and we can try to talk about ways to move forward with everyone feeling appreciated and secure, even if you’re not together. Hope to hear from you and take care.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Carey Deeters. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
I was nervous about starting couples therapy. About it being one sided, but Carey was very welcoming, always maintained a calm demeanor, was very down to earth and relatable, and I always felt me and my partner were listened to as individuals, and treated fairly unbiased, and with safety and concern.
Carey is excellent! My boyfriend and I have been working with him for about 6 weeks and he has already helped us in so many ways. I love the worksheets and activities he gives us. They are short and sweet and to the point, but we learn so much from them. Our sessions have all been really successful and we look forward to all of our sessions with him. Highly recommend!
Carey is professional, knowledgable & respectful. He listens to our concerns & offers therapeutic advice.
I’m just starting out with Carey, but thus far he’s very in tuned with my concerns and needs.
I love that he sees and understands the situation I’m in and isn’t afraid to tell my partner his behavior is ok. My partner still doesn’t see that his actions are wrong, but I love that someone else tells him out right. No dancing around, straight to the point
Great therapist! He really listens and cares
Carey is a very focused and knowledgeable guidance tool for me personally and I am thankful for his help
Carey has been great with me and my girlfriend. He explains things in a way that we understand and in the short time we have been talking with him, he has helped us tremendously!
