Trained in intergenerational family therapy with a specialization in substance use disorders. I developed a smoking cessation program program for Kaiser Permanente and done extensive work with persons with disabilities. I am classified by others as a geriatrician because of my work with the elderly. I have worked with families going through divorce, in particular helping children as their parents are obtaining a divorce. I use spirituality as a tool for understanding life challenges and how to cope.
