I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing services for approximately 6 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients with various issues. I have experience with anxiety, depression, body image issues, domestic violence, adolescent issues, relationship problems, among a few. I see clients of all ages and different backgrounds. I view the role of therapy as a team process where we work together to find a solution to problems in order to meet specific goals. My background includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and applied behavior analysis. In addition to my role as a counselor, I am also a board certified behavior analyst and have worked with adults with developmental disabilities for 10 years.
I find that most issues involving couples revolve around communication. It can often be difficult for your partner to see things from your perspective. Having a counselor can help bridge the gap between was is said and what is heard between two people. I do not believe in judging others and will provide you with a sense of comfort when discussing sensitive topics. Together, we can discuss personal issues that may be difficult to talk about with your significant other. Discussing issues with a therapist may offer you a different perspective to issues. For this reason, couples counseling is a good option when it comes to sensitive topics. I look forward to getting to know you better!

We have loved working with Brittany for the past few months. She listens and provides excellent advice and it has definitely improved our relationship. She is knowledge and isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions to push you to open up.
Understanding and just “pushy” enough to make me think without feeling like crap.
I was really nervous starting because I didn’t know what to expect. After a few minutes of talking to her I felt at ease. So far, she has been understanding and made me feel like my situation isn’t completely hopeless. Every time I talk with her I have felt relief and my thoughts feel less jumbled than before.
