About me
Hello! My name is Amber and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in several therapeutic settings to include outpatient clinical services, skilled living facilities, community mental health, and nonprofit healthcare services. I have also served clientele within the social services, law enforcement, and military communities ranging from foster care and adoption, criminal offenders and active duty members.
I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work at the University of Tennessee at Martin and my Masters degree in Social Work at Western Kentucky University. I am dual-licensed in Florida and Tennessee specializing in family conflict, marriage/relationship issues, domestic violence, anger management, depression, stress and anxiety.
I would best describe my approach as open and client centered. I encourage each couple to play an active part in their treatment through use of motivational interviewing, to encourage insight and self-awareness. I target topics around relationship intelligence to build communication and conflict resolution skills that will promote a more solid foundation for each couple. I value continued education throughout the life of any relationship, and my goal is to help each couple add new skills to their toolboxes.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amber Williams. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
When my husband and I first started therapy we were both a little hesitant, since neither of us have ever done therapy before. For our first couple of sessions Amber did an individual session with each of us, before bring us together for our first joint session. She does this so that she can hear each of our concerns separately and see where we each were. It is easier to voice your concerns when your partner isn't there. Then when we did start our joint sessions, she was attentive and listened to what stressors we were currently dealing with, and helped us navigate our way through those. She gave us lots of helpful advice, and tools for us to be able to communicate with each other more effectively. She taught us so many important things, that have helped to bring us closer as a couple. A marriage only works if both partners put in the time and effort. Otherwise it will collapse and you will lose the thing most dear to you, your partner.
Amber it’s a great listener. She analyzes the situation and gives good advice.
Amber is a great listener and very good at turning my thoughts into tangible concepts
Amber is very calming and knowledgeable. She has a way of pulling things out and asks questions that don’t seem mundane and unoriginal.
Amber gave us assignments that forced us to take a look at what we both want in our marriage. This helped open our communication with one another and things improved.
