No matter what you are going through, know that I am here to listen, support you and help you figure it all out!
I look into different patterns throughout your life to help you understand why you might be feeling or acting a certain way. I help my clients overcome obstacles by looking into and exploring the various components of their lives. I help to foster insight and self-awareness, which can be the first steps towards making a real and lasting change! I work with my clients to alleviate their symptoms as well as find and fix the root of the issue... think of this like not only putting on a Band-Aid but also healing the wound!
Clients have told me I provide a compassionate, empathetic and truthful perspective. I make sure to take the time to get to know and respect the needs and wants of each individual client, and want you to feel comfortable and at ease in therapy.
I am originally from San Diego, then spent some time experiencing life in the vast and often snow-filled states in the great Mid-West...and finally settled in the crisp air and flannel loving state of Washington. I enjoy cooking, reading, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and practicing Yoga. I would describe myself as fun, nonjudgmental, positive and sincere. I love being a therapist because I love connecting with and helping people. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy.

Amanda has given us both hope in our marriage.
Amanda is a great counselor who is understanding, non judgmental and supportive of my thoughts and processes.
Amanda has been really helpful in working through issues with my boyfriend and myself. It was a particularly complicated situation but she made sure she took the time to listen and understand our circumstances before she advised us.
She has always been impartial and fair and gave us some very useful tools that we can use going forward.
She's a really pleasant person who is very professional and knowledgeable. This was my first interaction with a counselor and she made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone seeking counselling.
Amanda has been amazing! Offering great insight as well as support! I’m feeling a lot more confident in my ability to go throughout my day with my husband and know that everything will be okay.
