Hi, my name is Alecia, I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 6 years of experience working with couples. As a therapist it is my hope you will find a safe place where you can share your deepest feelings and express your goals to one another. My goal is to collaborate with couples to embrace change through their strengths.
Life can be a lonely place, even if you have a significant other, when you no longer feel yourself or are feeling overwhelmed. Life transitions, Anxiety, Depression and Traumas can feel like a cinder block on your shoulders. You may wonder how things will change? Change begins with vulnerability. To be vulnerable is to let go of the notion you have to struggle alone.
It is time to write another chapter of your story with the strength that has gotten you this far. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to release the burden that is holding you back from living your best life as a couple.

I always feel better after our sessions
Alecia has a very calming presence. She is kind and a talented listener. She makes you feel heard and understood.
Alecia has always been kind and listened to my concerns. She has been supportive of me and understood my plight. She gives me advice and methods to use for coping. I feel comfortable speaking to her about anything.
She is an amazing listener and diffuser. She helps you to refocus on what matters
I feel that she is a very great, compassionate and resourceful counselor. She maintains excellent composure even when the sessions can go south. Which couples counseling can go south pretty quick. Alecia is not someone that takes sides and sees all the views of an issue. She will call you out and let you know the tools you need to mend whatever issue you’re battling. But it’s up to those who are in her therapy group to use the tools she gives you. I would definitely recommend her to any other couple that wants to seriously work on things and will put in the effort. It’s a two way street and she can’t just drive you down it. Alecia is always very very responsive when it comes to the text thread in the app. Which is also amazing. I’m use to hearing back from someone a few days later. Five stars all around counselor. Give her a shot and you won’t regret it.
