About me
Marjorie A. Grant,
Phd., MA, LCSW, K-12-SPED/REG. ED
I have a Master of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wyoming with over 29 years of experiences working with families, children and couples. I also have a School Social Work Certification in the States of Wyoming and Alaska. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, compassion and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. I am extremely dedicated to assisting the needs of couples I work with and helping them achieve their therapeutic goals. I believe in the approach of working with couples from a team approach where each person has their say in what is happening and everyone deserves to be heard.
My therapeutic approach is a solid foundation in cognitive behavior, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs in a positive manner to meet my client’s specific needs. I also thoroughly enjoy providing Christian counseling to those that request this therapeutic approach utilizing the unconditional love of Christ as the primary foundation in our sessions.
I am dedicated to make sure when working with couples that each party is allowed to respond individually to what the other is saying and that no one person in the couple is treated differently than the other.
I respect the courage to take the first steps toward change. If you feel you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you to get the happier and more fulfilled life that you are looking for. I am excited and looking forward to working with you.
