Love and connection are basic human needs. Relationships are crucial to our well-being. That doesn't only mean romance though. We have relationships with our parents, children, siblings, friends,... even our pets or people we only say hello to in passing.
Connection in relationships rests on a foundation of understanding yourself and your emotions and how you communicate. You won't be able to give what you never received. We can work within your relationship on understanding your needs and unmet needs and communicating with each other and achieving an emotional connection.
In couples counseling there is room to explore your needs, your partner's needs, and your goals. I want what is best for you. In some cases that might not be to stay in your current relationship, and we can also work through achieving the best possible resolution, whatever that may be.

Wendy has been a great help as we’ve been vulnerable.
Wendy’s expertise is immense.
Wendy is very insightful and immediately made me feel comfortable talking about my issues with my partner.
I can tell she has a wealth of knowledge and I think I will learn quite a bit more moving forward with her.
With one session completed so far and several valuable resources shared Wendy had been excellent.
Wendy has been amazing! I would recommend her to anyone! I was very hesitant with this program but really love it!
Wendy was fabulous! I was impressed with her knowledge and use of tools to help me.
Wendy is the best therapist I've ever worked with. And I've met a lot.
I have felt that Wendy has been considerate and validating of my partner and my feelings, while also asking appropriate questions to help us understand and grow, and giving her opinion and insight at appropriate times as well. I felt respect and like she had a genuine interest in our success.
Wendy listens, helps to identify concerns, and challenges you while validating you at the same time. She is quite supportive and competent. Her life work changes lives, and she has been instrumental in helping me do just that.
