About me
Hello-
My name is Tricia Richards and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington. I have started my work in community mental health, in 2 different areas of Washington, which has given me a lot of experience working with diverse populations, with many different issues that individuals and families face, including anxiety, depression, abuse/neglect, reunification, parenting difficulties, stress, loss, and overall life difficulties.
I take a client centered and goal oriented, systems approach, being guided by the idea that people do the best they can with what they have; Sometimes they just need more tools. I work with my clients to determine what they each want their goals to be, and how we can work on those together, taking into account all of the systems at play in the couple's life, such as school, work, family, and friends.
I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Family Studies, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Central Washington University. Then, I went on to earn my Masters Degree from Seattle Pacific University in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have been doing therapy since 2014, married since 2017, and in 2018 my husband and I welcomed our amazing Boy/Girl Twins into the world.
I look forward to working with you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tricia Richards. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with ReGain might be different.
Tricia is great to work with , she’s helped me look at certain situations from a different perspective. Her work is very appreciated
Tricia is helpful, understanding and supportive. She has a unique ability to help view things from a different perspective.
Thanks for being chill
Tricia Richards is a great therapist she listens and understands what we need
Tricia is thoughtful and supportive. We were in a very volatile place and she held a peaceful and open space for us to share our experiences. We have deep discord in our marriage and I felt that Tricia worked hard to be objective and also proactive. I was very pleased with our sessions. We are discontinuing so that we can find someone in person, or a service that can offer hr long sessions that are specific to marriage therapy.
She's very kind, insightful, and approachable.
