About me

I have experience in working with many different ages, populations, and issues. Some of the areas I have experience in are: couple's counseling (relationships), family therapy, child therapy, grief, depression and anxiety. My work in these areas has helped me to become well-rounded therapist and develop a style that fits my clients. They have also taught me to strive to learn and grow which is what I hope for in those I work with in therapy.

When working with couples, I focus on the needs within that relationship. I strive to help couples create a strong partnership based on trust, love and good communication. In my experience, many of the issues that cause couples to struggle are due to trouble communicating. By identifying communication styles of each partner, the couple can grow closer and avoid most conflict. I work to help create a safe environment for each person in the relationship to express their needs and issues in the relationship.
