About Me
Thank you for stopping by! Hello, my name is Tasha Ford. I have a Masters degree in Social Work, a PhD in Health Psychology and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker based in Ohio. I have over 20 years of experience partnering with people to create the life that they desire to live. My areas of specialization include: emotional eating, mindfulness, grief and loss, meditation, mind-body health, anger, self-love, depression, anxiety, abandonment issues, life transitions and role changes.
My therapeutic approach includes use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Expressive Arts Techniques and Motivational Interviewing.
Developing a relationship that promotes health and healing for both partners takes work, meaningful honesty and intentionality. I understand the complexities of building a strong relationship and meaningful communication is key. It is important that both partners learn how to validate their partner whether they understand them or not. After all, just because one understands an issue does not lend automatic empathy and kindness. I believe it is paramount that couples learn to meet their partner where they are while nurturing and loving them the way they need to be nurtured and loved.
Whatever the water under the bridge, if you are willing to do the work to build health of self to be a better you and a better partner lets talk.

Very accommodating company and very flexible too! Love working with Tasha.
Tasha really listens to my concerns and ensures that she understands what my concerns are. She offers feedback and explains how she believes it will help.
Her insight on “black love” is such a blessing and it is strongly needed in the black community as we continue to tackle life together
