About Me

Relationships are complicated, but they don't have to be.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have been working with couples and families, of all kinds, for over 20 years. When working together, the “client” is not any individual, but rather, it is the relationship. As such, I’m able to listen to all sides, with an empathetic and non-judgmental ear. My style is interactive, compassionate and supportive. Together, we’ll work collaboratively, to improve your understanding of others and also yourself. You’ll learn tools and develop new skills to communicate your own needs and desires and improve all your relationships.

“We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.” ― Sam Keen

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA and then went on to earn my Master’s degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling at USC. Since then, I have spent over 2 decades, treating a wide range of issues including severe psychiatric disorders such as mood and thought disorders, stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, sexuality identity, sexual orientation, and compassion fatigue, as well as interpersonal relationship issues among diverse populations.

My expertise is working in emergency mental health settings, with individuals of all ages who present in crisis. By the very nature of the setting, I see people on their worst days, in their worst moments, yet I have helped them work through tremendous pain and personal tragedy.

I hope we can work together to improve your relationships and help you experience more joy.

Stacy is great; I wished I had started this with my wife years ago. Before the damage was done.
