I have experience with a wide variety of concerns such as serious mental health issues, trauma, marital/relationship issues, depression, anxiety, anger management, and grief and loss. I have worked with individuals with a variety of diagnoses (Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and PTSD to name a few). Other areas of concern include : adjusting to life changes (careers, relationships, parenting and life changes/transitions). My goal is to provide the best possible support, guidance and clinical intervention to enhance the lives of each individual and family I serve.
My counseling style is welcoming, interactive, relaxed and non-judgmental. I believe in equality and treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe in honesty and not focusing on stigmatizing labels. My therapeutic approach is personalized to you as I am eclectic in my approach. I combine person centered approach, cognitive-behavioral and solution focused therapy. In working with couples, it is important to remain unbiased to work on relationship issues effectively.
