ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Therapist in Virginia. I am Black, and the mother of three daughters. I have worked with families, children, youth and young adults in-home and in residential treatment facilities from multi-cultural backgrounds. I have helped many to develop new skills of communication and relationship building. As a wife, mother and professional with a special needs child, I have a sensitivity and compassion to help families and marriages to be successful as the family is the bedrock of every other system in the world. I have assisted with issues that include, domestic violence, marital conflicts, infidelity, behavioral challenges, anger management, anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, roles and identity. I see your family and marriage as a gift to the world that is challenged at times to with misunderstanding and pain to become one. To me, your family and marriage is a winning team of over-comers. I am here to work with you to understand your transitions and support you towards the goals that you desire to accomplish. I am looking forward to seating with you at your winning table.
