I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 8 years of experience. I specialize in working with couples who are experiencing problems with communication, conflict resolution, problems with intimacy, and LGBT couples.
My counseling style is warm and engaging. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, Reality Therapy, and solution focused therapy. I believe that the treatment plan and focus should be client centered and client driven. The therapy goals that you set will serve as a road map of our time together and I will assist you with identifying active steps that you can take to actualize your goals within the relationship. I also check in regularly to ensure that you are making progress towards the goals that we set.

Sandtrice has been a great counselor! She is very fair and makes sure to hear both sides. I always feel comfortable and safe when speaking with her. She's very accommodating and has been there when we really needed her. It's also a plus that she's experienced in other areas outside of relationship issues. I highly recommend her!
I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Sandtrice. I have had several people tell me it may take a few tries to find a counselor you connect with, but my husband and I both knew after the first session we would stick with her. She listens to both parties and digs deeper into the emotion and thought processes behind it before offering advice and we feel no judgmental bias or blame in her counseling. She has truly helped our marriage in just the short time we have used her.
