About me
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Indiana. I have worked in various environments including community mental health and university counseling services which has enabled me to counsel individuals and couples on a variety of issues including grief & loss, depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions and relationship concerns. My graduate degree is in marriage and family therapy. I have always enjoyed assisting couples as they navigate relationship issues whether pre-marital, marital, parental, post-marital or life transitional.
I believe that the role of a counselor is to meet someone where they are at, come along side of them and assist them in their journey, all of the time realizing that they are in control of their next steps. My job is to help you realize which steps you want to take then aid you in the process of implementation. My counseling style is relational, interactive, eclectic and based on the beliefs above. I will listen, try to understand, then help you understand.
