My name is Ryan Rhodes and I am a licensed professional counselor with the state of Colorado and a certified life coach. I have worked with a multitude of people struggling with various mental health issues which include sever and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. Along with adults, I have extensive experience working with adolescents, groups and family therapy. I have worked with single adults and as well as couples for relationship counseling. My work history includes substance abuse treatment in adult outpatient settings, adolescent residential, and community based treatment.
My theoretical orientation is an eclectic model so each person can have treatment that is uniquely developed to suit their individuality. I prefer to walk along side people rather than push from behind or pull from in front. It is my goal to meet you were you are and come along side to help make the changes you want to make.

Ryan Rhodes has been extremely helpful in my psychological healing, as well as improving the healthy communication between my spouse and me. He is competent, warm, empathetic, knowledgeable, wise, and precise in his work with us. As a newcomer to therapy, this has been a repeatedly rewarding experience.
Ryan is great! He listens and respects you when you speak. But more importantly he makes you question and thus understand yourself better.
Ryan is a wonderful counselor. He is respectful, insightful and a fantastic listener. I would recommend him for couple or individuals. I can see the progress we are making and I feel a deeper understanding and appreciation for my partner.
Ryan is a very amazing counselor. He understand my problems and determines their cause almost immediately. He showed me ways of understanding my emotions much better and gave me techniques for mindfulness. I have felt a tremendous improvement in myself after the first couple of sessions and I can’t wait to continue with more sessions with him. I highly recommend Ryan for anyone struggling to understand themselves and others, and to be able to know exactly what you want.
Ryan is a great listener. While many counselors listen but then tend to talk and express either their personal experiences or thoughts, Ryan does a great job of listening first, and then sharing with us several different options to consider trying. I like Ryan as a person very much and he is great to work with.
We have been in counseling with Ryan for a couple of weeks now and we are very pleased.
