About Me

My name is Rosalyn Patrice Dunn, but please call me "Patrice." I graduated from The Ohio State University in Health Education, then the University of North Texas in Counseling and currently I am enrolled at Texas tech University working on my PHD in Counselor Education. I have been in private practice for12 years and work with individuals and couples on communication, anxiety, intimacy, decision making, parenting, goal setting and career choices.

My theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I will assist the client i becoming aware to those thoughts that create limiting beliefs. We will learn to see how our thoughts and beliefs about expectations, roles, and boundaries affect their behavior as a spouse. Homework, role play, and journaling are techniques I use to help move the couple along.

I look forward to working with you both.

Rosalyn is the most intuitive and helpful therapist I have worked with. She truly listens and understands deeply what you are feeling and comes up with tools and ways to help combat those negative feelings. I feel so heard and understood, it's as if she has lived my life and understands everything I mention.
