About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida with twenty five years of experience working in a variety of settings. I have vast experience working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, abuse , family or origin issues, relationship issues, or are struggling with mental health or mood disorders. I have worked in a myriad of community settings including community mental health, family counseling centers, marriage counseling centers, crisis centers, and the school setting.

My approach to therapy is very couple centered. I truly believe that each couple is composed of unique individuals who each deserve to be heard and respected for their individual life experiences. I like to use therapeutic approaches that take into account the strengths, interests, and beliefs of the clients I am working with. I have personal experience with utilizing Imago therapy in my own life so I understand the power of therapy to empower and reinforce commitment. I strongly believe in family being the most important part of a individuals life. I commit to tailoring a treatment plan with you and your partner to include goals that are important for you and providing each person with a treatment approach that feels right for them.
