My decision to become a therapist was no a surprise to the people who know me best. Mainly, because I have always enjoyed providing support to people when they were struggling with personal issues. With the encouragement of my family, I choose psychology and counseling as a major in college and earned a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. I am currently licensed in the state of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor(LCPC) with over 10 years of experience working with individuals who are suffering from depression, addictions, anxiety, and family and relationship conflicts. I also have a private practice and I work as the Program Director of a Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescents and Adults with addictions to drugs and alcohol. My passion is helping people move forward when they are feeling "stuck" in their current situation. I use strength based therapy as well as aspects of the client centered necessary.
approach where the client determines their needs and goals in therapy. My main objective is to partner with you as you accomplish your goals in therapy. Let me help you tap into the strength that you already possess.

Robeena has been instrumental in the rebuilding of our marriage. Her support and guidance has been invaluable during a difficult time in our relationship.
She is understanding and caring. It is so nice to talk someone who can give you tools and encourage you as you walk through the mine fields of emotions that accompany these difficult times.
I thought this would be challenging because my husband rarely opens up but thankfully Robeena is not only an expert but very genuine and insightful. The journey has just begun for us but I truly feel like we chose the right counsel to get us through it.
