Rick Zapf

About Me

“My partner doesn’t understand.” “I don’t trust them…” These were two common statements from couples while I was in private practice for 11 years in Texas. I specialized in working with couples even offering premarital counseling to help start the relationship in the right direction. I networked with local churches to help pastors prepare their congregation not only for marriage, but through difficulties in the marriage (communication, intimacy, time-management, parenting, dual-careers, finances, cheating, differences in religion, cell phone dependence, excessive gaming, and a spouse that won’t do what I tell them to do).
Now, I am available online to help you change your life.
My diverse training allows us, together, to ascertain problems, develop goals, and set a realistic timeline for improvement. Each treatment plan is different for each client. My training as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Texas has allowed a deeper understanding of how you and your partner interacts with those at home, at work, or at school. My "down-to-earth" conversations help to engage the other partner, while my holistic approach can even incorporate your religious values.
Let's talk about how we can change your life.

Mr. Zapf has and is continuing to help me through very difficult times. He has been extremely understanding and for once I am starting to feel some hope again. I’ve seen many counselors and therapist and have finally found one that fits right and with my schedule.
