About Me

Hello, my name is Rachel Berger and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with more than 5 years of experience. I address issues, such as anxiety, communication, depression, jealousy, life transitions, and trust development in relationship counseling.

The theories of counseling that I draw from include Cognitive-Behavioral-- identifying and understanding thoughts and actions that influence decision making. Feminist--encouraging self-empowerment and advocacy. Humanistic--focused and directed by the client's goals. Dialectical Behavioral--coping with discomfort, emotion regulation, interpersonal relationships, and mindfulness. Rational Emotive Behavioral--identifying, challenging, and replacing irrational thoughts/beliefs.

I offer an open and validating environment. I will adjust my methods to accommodate your goals and therapeutic needs.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas Woman's University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

I am here for you when you are ready to start your journey towards a more satisfying life.

Rachel Berger is a great counselor. I would love to recommend her to anyone who is also going through marital issues and facing a divorce.
