I have been working with couples since starting my practice in 1987. The couple is a part of a larger family structure and understanding
the dynamics which draw two people together. To work with each individual to look at which their role is in the couple and
what unique characteristics one brings and then the dynamics that are created through the coupling. I like Hendrix and
Gottman as guides but I do not follow a strict model. The health of the individual is evaluated and the health of the couple
and the goal is to reach a better balance. I look at the relationship as a bridge and on one side is commitment and the
other side is compromise and in the center of the bride is respect, mutual values, mutual goals some common interests
and an attraction that is different than a friendship

Priscilla listens very well to hear the information I can offer and guides my next step, professionally. She leaves me with thought provoking work to complete, prior to my next session.
Thank you! Lori
