As a compassionate and experienced therapist, social worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor I listen, really listen. I have 26 plus years of experience in mental health, social services, and substance abuse assessments and treatment. My clients are teens, parents, couples, individual adults, and families. Some of the issues generally brought to therapy are stress management, anger management, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, family issues, relationship issues, and struggles with career and home life.
My wife and I have been married for nearly 29 years. I have an adopted daughter and a stepdaughter. They both are married and live less than two miles from our house. My parents immigrated to this country in 1963. My wife immigrated to this country in 1988. We met in 1989 and eighteen later we were married. We are a multicultural family, and I speak two other languages besides English, but not fluent enough to provide quality therapy in those languages.
What I have found out in both my marriage and those of the hundreds of couples I have had the honor of working with, is flexibility. Often, frustration, expectations, financial stress, goals that couples have that are not similar create stressors relationships that often couples are not aware until it is too late. I feel it is important that couples seek therapy when stress levels are low to moderate. That way the couples are able to participate fully in counseling. Once stress levels reach a constant of say, 7 or 8, then therapy at that point is more difficult. I welcome the honor of working with you when you are ready to begin the process of reunification.

I feel blessed and relieved to have found someone like Nabeel.
It’s very helpful to me even though my situation is very complicated and not normally respected. I grow stronger in the process.
Nabeel has been the best therapist I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and attentive. I would highly recommend Nabeel to friends or family.
So far, I am very pleased with Nabeel's sessions. It is my belief he is very knowledgable and caring.
Easy to talk too and very understanding and aware. He can identify things that you might not even know was there.
Nabeel is an extremely skilled therapist. He has already helped us so much in the few sessions we've had. He always makes sure we are comfortable and understand his approach. He is very knowledgeable in theory and practice and is able to explain the psychology theories around his approach and then show us how it applies practically. He is so empathetic and works hard to really see and understand where we're coming from. And he does all this with humor, warmth and kindness.
