Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my counseling style. My name is Marla and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician in North Carolina with over 10 years of experience working as a professional counselor. I have served children, couples, and families in a variety of settings. When working with couples, I can work with each individually or separately or a combination. My goal is to foster health communication and problem solve issues that have weakened the bond between couples.
My counseling style is kind and compassionate. I believe in taking time to learn about each couple and fully understand what brings them into counseling. Marriage is a life choice that comes with its own challenges involving both people making it a unique process. I have years of experience in working with couples to solve problems for long term solutions.
I know it can be overwhelming to try and solve problems that have caused heartache. You and your partner are not alone in the journey to try again and live a happier lives. I am here to help solve these challenges and work towards more fulfilling outcomes. I am available for live messaging therapy Monday, Wednesday and Tuesday, Saturday for phone and video appointments. Sessions are 30-45 minutes in length. You are welcome to look at my calendar and pick a time that works for you. Lets chat soon and make progress!
