About me

You have taken a important step to invest in yourselves and your relationship, and I am honored to assist and support you. I care deeply about the therapy process, and my foundational goal is to create emotional safety for our work together. My style is holistic and integrative, and what you share with me informs our conversations, as well as my approach as a therapist. I believe that therapy can offer supportive, clarifying insights and tangible, forward movement. I am committed to both process and tangible outcomes—and nothing is more fulfilling than clients realizing and experiencing their goals. I see myself as a catalyst or partner on behalf of my clients’ self-empowerment and flourishing. I have keen understanding of the complexity inherent in couples therapy work, the individual and collective contributions and dynamics brought into the process, and the reality that goals and outcomes are generated by all individuals involved.

For over 25 years, I have worked with clients from all over the world, from all walks of life, providing individualized approaches for their unique situations. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups. In addition to my MA in counseling psychology, I have a PhD in organizational systems and sustainable leadership. I am a compassion researcher and practitioner, and this is a main artery in my work and life.. I am a Licensed Psychologist in MN, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in NY, NM, and HI. I also am a Coach Training Alliance Certified Coach, with over 12 years of professional, executive, team, and life coaching experience.

I always invite you to ask questions at any time. If I do not know the answer, I will work with you to seek and find it. You have taken an important first step in taking care of yourselves and on behalf of your relationship. I am glad you reached out. Welcome—and I look forward to working together.

She’s great. She really listens and helps me analyze the problems and work through them and try to find solutions.
