About me
I am a Licensed Master's Level Social Worker with over 20 years experience working with adults and children. I graduated with a mental health concentration from an accredited university and have acquired extensive experience working with people who have experienced depression and anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, as well as a multitude of others disorders that may have an impact on ones ability to function to their full potential.
As a clinical therapist, I know that everyone comes with their own unique and personal experiences and relationship problems. I meet people where they are at in their life journey with a person centered and guided cognitive behavioral approach. I understand and respect that beginning the process of therapy is a courageous act for anyone, and that people are more than their problem or presenting situation. I believe that couples and families have the ability to achieve their goals from within and just need someone to help access and utilize the tools and skills needed to overcome their presenting obstacles and challenges.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Marcy Kirkland. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Marcy has been very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
My fiancé and I went to therapy, not because we have current issues but because we want to avoid them in the future and deepen our connection. Marcy has helped us do both instead of digging for problems to fix like others have done. We love our sessions with her and our lives outside of session!
Marcy has been extremely helpful to us in our counseling. She’s provided us with suggestions & tools that we have started to use in our day to day life. Our experience with Marcy has been worth the investment and would highly recommend her as a counselor.
We’ve gained confidence in the road ahead through Marcy’s guidance. She is articulate, responsive, sensitive, and we are very happy to have met her.
