My name is Leslie, and I am a licensed professional counselor licensed in Colorado and Texas. I have a Masters from Santa Clara University in California and have been counseling for over 20 years, supporting individuals and couples across a myriad of ages, geographies and demographics.
In addition to my experience at schools, universities, and several hospital networks, I have also helped couples with a variety of communication, conflict, trust and intimacy issues, as well as parenting strategies when appropriate.
I would describe my approach as integrative and holistic, but also use cognitive and behavioral strategies to support clients with attention to actionable, incremental steps toward improved communication and reduced conflict. First and foremost, I try to understand the needs of each individual, the impact of their perspective and subjective experience, as well as any emergent patterns in the relationship that could potentially impair their connection.
I value the importance of a uniquely tailored approach and am eager to evolve my strategy for each individual client and couple; I am looking forward to supporting you however you may need and will ensure I am there when and where you'd like to discuss.
