About Me

These are weird times for all of us. Are you feeling isolated or scared? Is your relationship struggling through too much time together? Is it rocky and you want to improve it? Have you lost each other in the day to day of kids and work and life? Is it over and you want to end it with integrity and respect? Is it good and you want it to be the fantastic stuff you and others dream of? I've helped couples in all of those situations - straight, gay, married, happily unmarried, engaged, dating, and more.

With some couples it's all about improving communication, whether they don't communicate at all, whether they need some new tools for fighting fair, or whether the communication is good but they want it to be stellar. We'll start with some basics... What are your love languages and apology languages? What kind of relationships did your parents model for each of you? What of that are you acting out with each other? What do you like or envy about friends' relationships? What if you could read each other's minds? Why did you originally fall in love with in your partner? What of that is still there, but just needs fuel to reignite? When did your relationship work and what was different? And if we were to wave a magic wand and you woke up in the perfect relationship with each other tomorrow, what would have changed? What would it look like?

We are still in the infancy of our counseling but Mr. Waters has been wonderful. We have enjoyed the extra tools he has supplied and the assignments aimed at bringing us closer as a couple while also working towards “fixing” our individual quirks.

Lee listens to me and breaks things down in a way to help me understand if the way I am thinking is either expected or needs to take more into consideration. He is very knowledgeable about human emotions and has helped me help myself only after a couple of weeks.

I appreciate his responses to my concerns in my relationship. He’s empathetic in the best way and seems to be able to get me talking in the right direction, where as I would normally just think in circles.
