I am a clinical social worker licensed in Massachusetts with over 20 years of experience helping teens, individual adults and couples improve their mental health and wellbeing. I worked as an Army Mental Health Specialist from 2001 to 2009, helping service members and their families in the US and overseas. I then worked for eight years as a Mental Health Intensive Case Manager with the Veterans Affairs Healthcare systems in Massachusetts and Hawaii. After four years as a responder on the Veterans and Military Crisis Line, I moved solely to private practice. Through these experiences, I have not only gained expertise helping service members, but also a deep understanding of many mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family & relationship problems, career challenges, and trauma. I have a deep empathy for couples from all walks of life and believe in the power of setting goals in therapy to improve one's experience. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and I also have a sense of humor. My therapy approach combines cognitive-behavior mindfulness and a focus on goals and solutions. Although your life challenges are unique, there is truly nothing new under the sun and you are not alone. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lee Kandlbinder. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Lee have a lot of experience! I trust him and his expertise. He’s very practical and doesn’t waste time. He’s empathic and can see the big picture. I appreciate him and all he’s done for me and my partner. As two strong professionals of color, we wanted someone with a multicultural approach who understood trauma and the family structure. He’s the man!
