I am a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed clinical additions counselor. I have been providing therapy for over 20 years to a variety of individuals and couples in a variety of settings. I am a strengths-based individual and this is how I approach all situations and people. I believe that everyone has worth and unfortunately, not everyone is able to fully recognize and embrace their worth. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to assist people in finding their own power and creating their own change. In working with couples, communication and responsibility are often the greatest areas of focus. Learning to embrace our role in conflict, learning to identify and take care of our side in the equation is key to a successful relationship.

Lavon has been very helpful and supportive, while remaining non-judgemental. She’s really lovely to work with.
Lavon challenges me to consider what it is that will help me be the best me. I never feel judged by her - even when I may be judging myself very harshly. She is very kind and I appreciate all of the help she has provided so far.
