I am a board certified and dual licensed counselor, providing over 20 years of Forensic, Behavioral, and Addiction counseling services. I believe in motivating and encouraging awareness through respect, integrity, person centered and strength-based approaches. I meet you where you are in life and where you are in your relationships. My goal is to help you to identify paths to achieve personal goals, recovery, and regain life balance. I offer a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with an interactive conversational style.
My philosophies are rooted in cognitive behavioral and solution focused approaches including emotionally focused therapy to aid couples in restoring emotional balance to their partnerships. I hold multiple specialty training and certifications to offer several evidence based services to best meet your needs. I have specialty working with couples who are LGBTQ, divorcing, have histories of domestic violence, or who are co parenting and/or engaged in a collaborative divorce.

It's uplifting to talk with Laura. Both my spouse and I feel totally at ease telling Laura things we would never share with another living soul. Within the first five minutes of our first meeting we both felt that. Laura has suggested things from both ends of the spectrum for the problem I am dealing with. From radical to medication. She is a no nonsense person and I appreciate that she gets straight to the point.
