I have worked with couples in relationship counseling utilizing The Enneagram and The Johari Window. These tools will give us a wonderful basis on which to assess how well each of you work together and how your personalities work together and how to work with problems and concerns. I expect each of you to have a commitment to work together. It is a wonderful thing when couples can work together. I will supply you with homework that you can do together and apart. We will establish goals for therapy and keep a running check on where we are and what happens next. I truly believe that each client has their own answers, path and resources which I can assist you in bringing out. My role as a therapist is to provide you with empathy and Unconditional Positive Regard. My first priority is to LISTEN: to your goals for therapy, to your wants and needs regarding therapy, and to assist you in becoming the best possible person that you want to be.
I feel that my 20+ years as a hospice social worker has enabled me to be very experienced with people from all walks of life. I know that making a decision to work with a therapist can be a first step toward better outcomes. Let me take your hand and together we can create a brighter future. I look forward to meeting you and assisting you in your therapy goals.
