About Me

I am a New York Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I completed my Marriage and Family Degree with an Advanced Certificate in Trauma Informed Practice from Syracuse University in 2016. I have four years of experience with couples. I specialize working with individuals who have experienced trauma (to include, but not limited to: one time traumatic event, adverse childhood experiences, trauma sustained in the military, or sexual trauma). All relationships can benefit from counseling whether it be to enhance conflict resolution, improving communication, or to enrich the relationship.

I am client focused and offer a unconditional positive regard to all clients. Some of my treatment modalities include Emotional Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Experiential therapy. I think it’s helpful if we focus on the present and the future. I want to help you figure out what changes you want to see happen in your life. We will identify realistic goals and expectations you have for yourself and hone in on your skills to help create those positive changes!

Reviews

Written by T.A. on Feb 08, 2020 after counseling with Kristine for 1 month on issues concerning relationship

Kristine has been amazing during our counseling sessions. My husband and I are grateful to her for helping us learn new ways to communicate and cope with the everyday stresses that we encounter as husband and wife, parents of very young children and entrepreneurs. After the first session with Kristine, we felt confident that we could overcome our obstacles.
