Hi, my name is Kristen and I have been a LPC for 20 years. I have worked with a multitude of people, including couples, during my career. I can see the difficulties clearly when working with a couple and am focused on the solutions vs the details of the fight. Couples often get caught up in the details which ultimately drown out the real issues. I believe there are issues that need to be addressed and these can be done in ways that are tangible and realistic. Active listening is imperative in couples counseling and the "buy-in" from both parties is essential. I will listen and be objective and absolutely nonjudgmental. Nothing said shocks me. We could laugh, cry, fight, listen, write, read, love, hate all in one session. It takes a lot to get you here and I respect that. Let me help!
