Hello,
I am Kirsten Ramey. I am a Doctoral level, Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider in the State of Georgia. Clients typically refer to me as Dr. Ramey, Dr. K or simply, Doc. I have worked in the mental health field for 17 years in community/within home, OL and private practice settings with couples who were seeking to make meaningful changes. My expertise is related to working with couples that experience communication difficulties associated with personality differences, gender roles, parenting issues, family of origin issues, infidelity, and finances. I am an Adlerian counselor, who utilizes CBT and Solution Focused Techniques. I will be more than happy to answer any questions about what any or all of those terms means. My goal is to create, nurture, and maintain strategic working alliances with couples to take the mystery out of counseling. I want you to understand your own process of healing, individually and collectively. Therefore, I empower you throughout your counseling journey as you make meaningful changes. I don't consider myself the expert of your life or marriage, YOU are! I am here to clinically and professionally facilitate change. do not subscribe to the sick-theory and do not view my subscribers (clients) as "discouraged." I advocate, encourage and empower couples towards emotional health. My goal is to assist couples in working towards goals that allow their relationship to thrive. I have been married to my husband for over two decades and we have 5 children. I love what I do and I am honored to be on your journey with you! You are welcome here!

Dr. Ramey has been such a wonderful councelor. She see's right thriugh any b.s. and isnt afriad to call you on it. I truly appreciate her honesty and her expertise. This is such a relief that she has a way to reach my hubby when I can't. She does a great job of educating us on our flaws as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Ramey to my friends and family.
