About me

Kimberly is a born and raised Californian, whose professional journey has allowed her to practice in multiple states while developing her clinical skills.

During her time practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist in New York City, Kimberly specialized in treating young adults navigating the dating world, dealing with heartbreak and loneliness, and preparing for marriage. When she moved to Colorado in 2016, Kimberly began working at the crisis line, which gave her specialized training to work with individuals struggling with suicidal ideation or in a substance abuse crisis. She joined the District Attorney’s office where she worked with juvenile offenders, and has received additional training in treating substance abuse and deviant sexual behaviors. She and her best friend Nerby are certified to do animal assisted therapy, an intervention that enhances the work she does, particularly with juveniles and families. Kimberly is currently part of a committee organized by Stand Up Colorado, working on the standards for juvenile domestic violence treatment. She has continued to cultivate her skills as a trauma therapist, most recently completing training in EMDR and Brainspotting.

Kimberly has spent most of her career working with couples either preparing for marriage or repair the fractures in their relationships. Kimberly primarily utilizes the Gottman method of couples counseling, while drawing interventions from emotionally focused couples therapy.

Kimberly is a former college water polo player, a runner and swimmer, and aficionado of The Office. Her preferred method of self care is snowboarding.

We are in the beginning stages of working with Kimberly, but we are happy to begin using her as a counselor as a whole

Kimberley has been amazing and I could not have got through this without her... I’d recommend her to anyone! An absolute star.

Kimberly really knows her stuff!
I have had some counseling with previous therapists but I never felt that there was much knowledge or that I didn’t learn how to cope with my problems. I feel a lot better about a lot of things in the short time that I have been having Kimberlys support. I highly recommend her to anyone.
Kimberly has many skills in dealing with many different problems that we all face in life and it’s really reassuring to have someone that is professional yet kind hearted, super supportive and understanding to share these with.

I’m am really grateful.

Work with me!
