About me

Hello, My name is Kim Hibbard, I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. I have a BA in Child Development and Psychology from Bethany University, Scott's Valley, CA. I am a member of the America Counseling Association and have training in various therapies, such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, and Person Centered Treatment. I have worked in the human services field for 40 years and as a counselor for 10 years. I have had various groups that I have counseled, children and teens, couples and individuals. I have done family counseling, military, and LGTBQ . Since each client is an individual and has their own needs and diagnosis the therapy and treatment plan will be personalized for the individual. I also have a person centered, loose approach and believe that the client is the expert in their lives. Therefore the client needs to be involved in their therapy and recovery. I hope to hear from you and look forward to meeting you. Kim is fantastic! She really gets me and she gets my husband too. I love the exercises she does with me. I live the hand outs she give me. And her perspectives are very very helpful. I would recommend Kim if you want someone with a lot of experience

Work with me!
