I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist in the state of North Carolina. I became a social worker to support people at the end of their lives. At the beginning of my career, an opportunity to do that was not available, so for a long time I supported people in Recovery from substance abuse and mental health issues, and I then switched over to end-of-life care. Due to my eclectic path, I have acquired a knack for supporting people through the changes in their lives. This includes folks who may have high psycho-social needs, folks who may not be aware of available resources, and folks who may just need a person to support the changes that are happening in their lives due to their situation, or the changes they are making in their lives due to their own goals and wishes.

I could immediately tell that Kathy really understands couples. She is warm and easy to communicate with about anything. She really helped us understand our relationship better and brought us very quickly to a place of reconciliation. I highly recommend talking to her as her perspectives proved incredibly valuable to us.
Kathy is WONDERFUL. She actively hears my husband and I, then effectively shows us new ways to improve our marriage while also not making us feel like we have to make it work.
Kathy has great advices! She is so professional.
