I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia and The District of Columbia with 10 years of professional work experience. My MA Degree is in Clinical Mental Health Pastoral Counseling from Marymount University, Arlington, VA; I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC); a Seminary trained Ordained Minister with a MA in Religious Studies (MARS) from Howard University School of Divinity, Washington, D.C. As a retired US State Department, GS-15, Manager, I have an understanding of workforce issues. I have experience in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Washington Hospital Center (Medstar). I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with couples to repair trust, improve communication, and strengthen their emotional intimacy with each other. I am a trained Prepare-Enrich Facilitator, the number one on-line Premarital and Marriage Assessment. I have facilitated and guided couples through this assessment to help strengthen their relationships for more than six years. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
