Hello and welcome! My name is Jonathan Zucker and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Idaho. For over 16 years, I have been providing therapy to families, teenagers children and adults from all sorts of cultural backgrounds. Originally from New York City, I moved to Idaho in 2006 and have loved living here ever since. My passion is to help people cope with and move past their painful issues in a comfortable and honest atmosphere.
My therapy style is an authentic experience that can pull from the therapeutic techniques I utilize interchangeably, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive therapy (REBT), mindfulness and positive regard. I urge my clients to provide me with feedback as to how the therapy sessions are going so I can focus on the areas they deem most serious.
I am also a musician, an avid fan of all kinds of music and truly enjoy experiencing new cultures.
I look forward to meeting you and provide you with support and guidance that will fit your way of being.

Jonathan Zucker has truly helped us. We are very much a work in progress but I can say, with certainty, we would not be progressing in a positive manner without him. His uncanny ability to see the true issue and focus on it instead of being swept up in all the secondary issues is truly what makes his session so incredibly productive. We both feel heard, validated and safe.
We are so thankful to have found our awesome therapist! We clicked right away, he just has a very comforting relatable way of communicating and identifying what we are trying to figure out. We’ve really made progress and look forward to our meetings.
Jonathan is amazing. He listens and gives practical advice that hits home. He’s also direct which I appreciate.
Jonathan has been helpful to us so far. He seems to really understand what I'm trying to convey to my husband and helps send the message. He is very real and tells things the way they are.
Jonathan has been extremely helpful in counseling. He is thoughtful, knowledgable, insightful, direct, listens well and offers sage advice. He is warm, humorous, caring and kind. His technique, personality and approach help ease the process of counseling which can sometimes be very challenging. So grateful to have found Jonathan as he has been a great source of help and support!
Jonathan has been awesome! We were in a dark place in our relationship, but Jonathan helped us learn to communicate and ultimately remember why we are together. I would recommend him to anyone.
Jonathan listens and has provided good insight into our issues!
Jonathan is the first therapist I’d ever worked with and he is wonderful.
He flipped the image I had of the traditional “shrink” with his affable and humorous personality.
My wife and I couldn’t recommend him enough.
