About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker living in NYC. I have been practicing for the past twenty years within a wide scope of disciplines. My most "traditional" work was at a comprehensive counseling center 15 plus years ago. There, I provided clinical counseling to patients with a wide variety of disorders, issues and concerns. My scope of practice included but was not limited to anxiety, depression and couples counseling. CBT, client-centered therapy and psychodynamic therapy were techniques most often deployed; however, I truly believe a talented clinician must not be married to any one modality. Adaptation is key to a successful life in my opinion, and this is a very important skill I have as a clinician. There is no cookie-cutter approach to psychotherapeutic work. When it comes to the therapeutic relationship, I tailor my treatment to the individual patients' needs. Additionally, I worked hand in hand with psychiatrists to ensure streamlined services when appropriate. I also led weekly groups focused around social anxiety disorders and we utilized role playing techniques to simulate real life possible encounters. Over the years my services morphed to become a true extension of myself in real-life. However, I still utilize more traditional therapeutic techniques as I see fit. In the latter scope, my sessions tend to be direct; without tradition psychotherapeutic boundaries. I worked with clients around their image of themselves and dating practices. I am passionate about overall wellness; mind, body and spirit. I love esthetics and fitness and hold licenses in both realms. I am also well versed in homeopathic practices where east meets west in treatments. Guiding my clients in this arena became a true extension of myself. I helped hundred of my patients gain the courage necessary to navigate the world of dating where the concept of "bigger/better" has become the underlying backbone. It has become so easy to fall into the temptation of seeking an "upgrade" rather than finding your true happiness. Of course, this naturally ties in with each individuals backstory and so it set a very natural stage for deeper work.
Currently, I see clients for both image wellness guidance as well as more general emotional disturbances. The theme seems consistent throughout. Most of us have a hard time getting out of our own way and we become overwhelmed with our symptoms. I will help you break it down so that you can work effectively to improve the most important relationship, your relationship to yourself!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jodi Rosen. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
I've been in a few sessions with Jodi and so far I've found her to be helpful and friendly, and able to offer insights into things. Jodi tends to work with you to help figure things out instead of saying 'this' and 'that', but will also say what is on her mind if it is relevant.
I've not had great experiences with Counselors in the past and that leaves me a little hesitant and reserved in sessions, but in the case with Jodi I've felt relaxed and able to speak my mind.
Jodi is very professional and easygoing and my partner and I look forward to working with her again ✊
