About me

I have a passion in making a treatment difference in each client and couple in my practice. I have been in private practice since retirement from public school administration in 1994. My main theoretical orientation is in cognitive behavior therapy, client centered therapy and psychodynamic theory. I believe in doing "no harm" and in affording dignity and empathy for each individual in delivering the utmost treatment in individual and couple therapy. My primary theoretical view in counseling with coupes is cognitive behavior theory and, on occasional, a psychodynamic approach. I find particular success with couples, as well as in other cases, with cognitive behavior theory and client centered approaches; the acknowledgement of dignity and new patterns of thinking about specific issues revealed in therapy to be effective in forming new channels of communication between partners in couple therapy.

Having a 3rd opinion in our problems was a blessing for and now marriage is better than ever. Only sorry we not do this years ago. Thx to Jim Fowler
