Life can be difficult and confusing enough when you are trying to get through it on your own - and adding a whole other person with their own life history and experiences can make it feel both more complicated and more worthwhile. As ac couples counselor I primarily work on communication and what it means to really listen to one another. I support couples in creating agreements for how they will engage in conflict and for how they will learn from the conflict.
My counseling style is intended to be warm, accepting, inviting, and it is meant to inspire curiosity in your own and each others wisdom. Above all, I believe my clients have their own answers and best guidance and it is my job to help them learn to access it.

Very personable and great listener, while giving thoughtful advice
Jen seems to be very astute as to what is going on between my spouse and myself. She has great observation skills and knows how to level set us as a couple so that we can communicate effectively together. Great counseling.
Jennifer has been great so far. She immediately identified a core problem my wife and I are struggling with, which helped us to address it.
